TRIP BUDGET TO PENANG

Assalamualaikum..and hye !!

for this post, i would like to share my own experiences holiday in Penang, Malaysia... yahooo..

I had planned this vacation since last year.. 3 of my friends, Amira, Anis and Najwa also join this trip. hehe :D

To be honest, this is not my first time to Penang but for 2 of my friends, this was their first time. 

so guess what, i been their tour guide..hehe

Day 1 (Monday)

our journey start from Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur. We took monorel from Jalan Imbi Station to KL Sentral Station. We had planned to Penang by KTM, which our train on 10.00 pm and arrived at Butterworth Station on 5.25 am.

**we only took economy class which the cheapest,  RM19 per person.

after took about 7 hours, we safely arrived at Butterworth Station. yeayyy..time shows at 5.30 am.

Safely arrived, Alhamdullilah

before start our journey, we stop at Prayer Room for Subuh...after that, we move steps to ferry terminal.. woww.. it's my first time seeing many people were rushing went to work..hohoho..just like in Japan...oh ya... ferry fee only RM1.20 :)

Just took only 20-25 minutes, we safely arrived at Terminal Ferry Penang...yeayy.. then, we ride bus rapid 101 to our hotel, Tune Hotel Georgetown..only RM1.40..

We not able to check in because its to early.. (check in- 2.00pm)..so we decided to put our bag in the locker at the hotel, just RM 2 for one bag (whole day).

Then, we ask the receptionist how to get the bus from here.. serious talk, receptionist Tune Hotel Georgetown were really friendly, nice and very helpful :) I give 10 starts for all of them..

>First destination was Penang Hill..YUP!!!  You've never been to Penang unless you've been to Penang Hill..we took bus 204 from KOMTAR (walk 10 minutes from Tune Hotel) and its only cost RM4 return..

from KOMTAR to Penang Hill took about 30 minutes..

After few hours, then, we planned to had our lunch. we ride on bus 204 back to KOMTAR, and change to CAT bus.. pssssss.. CAT bus is free.. hehe.. save money :)... we decided to Padang Kota Lama to had our 'Pasembor'

After had lunch, we took CAT bus then stop at "Jalan Kedah" bus stop. just walked about 5 minutes to arrived our hotel.. then, we check in...tadaaaaaa...

2 person in 1 room

I booked this hotel because that time they had been promotion...and guess what, it only cost RM63 for 2 nights. (basic room, without windows)..but it just nice for traveler like us...wowww...wowww.. so, 1 person only had paid RM30+.. hihi :)

then, we decided to rest, taking shower, pray and sleep awhile.. fuhhhhh....

at 6pm, we went out to had our dinner. My other friend suggest to Restaurant Hameediyah... yeahhhh... again, we took CAT bus (free bus) because this restaurant located in georgetown and very easy to find it...(we used Google Map) hehe :)

you need try this too.. 'MURTABAK'...yummy

for my dinner, I just spent only RM 11.20 included my drink....I totally recommend this restaurant if you come to Penang...

Then, we went back to our room by CAT bus ....we slept early for that night...hoohoo.. too tired...  bye2...goodnight..
